# Enable HiDPI

Finally we will enable HiDPI and fix the noise with 3.5mm headphones.

Using Wi-Fi/Ethernet download (opens new window) the master branch as zip (if the below procedure does not work download the latest release and try again by modifying the commands appropriately, I sometimes experiment a couple things with the master branch).

Fire the terminal and execute the following command to ensure the script that configures HiDPI is executable

chmod +x ~/Downloads/Hackintosh-macOS-Dell-G7-7588-master/post_install.command

Now double click the script and enter your user password to allow the script to run and wait for it to finish. Reboot and you will be done setting up the system.

Note: With the above script an audio fix was configured, two files that make the jack noise go away are detected as malware (coin miners) by CleanMyMac X so to avoid having to re-run the script everytime you clean with this software, go to the malware section and start a scan, when it finds these files, right click and inpect them, finally exclude both ComboJack files by selecting exclude after right clicking them again.

Consider using a utility like GenSMBIOS from CorpNewt (opens new window) to get a valid serial number and other SMBIOS related data for iMessage/Facetime to work. To check more in-depth how to setup these Apple services check this guide (opens new window) from the dortania team.
